About

Team Fox is a community of volunteers who run, hike, bike, and cocktail to raise funding for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research so that we can speed new treatments and, ultimately, find a cure for PD.

Team Fox is the grassroots fundraising arm of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research (MJFF).  Each year, more than 1,500 Team Fox members worldwide turn their passions and interests into unique fundraising events and athletic feats.  Since the group’s inception in 2006, Team Fox members have raised an astounding $15 million for Parkinson’s research, helping MJFF achieve its mission to speed new treatments and, ultimately, find a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

Founded in the Fall of 2012, the Team Fox Professionals of San Francisco are a group of individuals committed to raising funds and awareness of Parkinson’s research alongside of the Michael J. Fox Foundation.  We host both Spring and Fall fundraising events, in addition to social functions throughout the year.

Parkinson’s disease has directly affected most of our members with a family member or loved one battling the illness.  Other members also closely work with the Parkinson’s population or are involved in Parkinson’s research.

”When we find a cure for Parkinson’s – and we will – it won’t be because of any single person.  It will be because of all of us, working together.” -Michael J. Fox.
